In April, I attended a photo workshop retreat in Wellington with Shelley Paulson and Nicole Begely. It was an absolutely incredible weekend, filled with beautiful horses, people, and dogs!

Our main location was at the EyeCandy Jumpers barn. We photographed riders in the early morning light, and also got to work with a variety of dogs around the stunning property.

We shot at the incredible Heritage Farm, and it was so fun to create images with such a polished and chic look to them. It was raining at the time of their session, so we pivoted and kept our models in the barn. We may have gotten a little wet with our cameras, but the results were more than worth it.

Learning in depth and hands on with two ridiculously talented photographers was such a great experience. Given that the Minnesota weather was still cold and bare, it provided some much needed reprieve and inspiration for the year ahead.
